The Bernese Mountain Dog Club of the Finger Lakes was established in 1979.  We cover a relatively large region of New York State and Pennsylvania.  Our membership consists of approximately forty members with general membership meetings conducted four times a year during scheduled AKC events. We publish our newsletter,  "Blassi-News",  to keep all members informed of upcoming activities and events and to document meeting minutes.  We support the entry of BMDs by offering trophies and hospitality, on Saturday during the Wine Country Circuit Show.  This show is held at Sampson Park in Romulus, New York, in September.  "Bernerfest" is held every June, at Meyers Park, on Cayuga Lake.  It is a wonderful opportunity for club members and guests who share similar interests in the BMD, to get together and enjoy a full day of picnicking and fun activities.  Other events and opportunities! to get together happen periodically.  We welcome new members!
