The Bernese Mountain Dog Club of the Finger Lakes (BMDCFL) was established in 1979. We cover the Finger Lakes region of Upstate New York (west of NYC) and northern Pennsylvania. Our club provides breed advocacy, education and fun social gatherings. Most importantly, we strive for the health and betterment of the breed and promote the AKC breed standards.
Our members are pet parents, breeders and all who share the love of the Bernese Mountain Dog. Many members are active in AKC Conformation, obedience, rally, agility, draft and therapy work.
BMDCFL hosts six meeting and several special events throughout the year. These events, in addition to being fun, promote camaraderie and support to our Berner families. The club publishes a newsletter, Blassi News, and we have a Facebook page to keep everyone informed of club news and upcoming events.
We welcome everyone who has a love for the Bernese Mountain Dog and we look forward to meeting you soon. Join us on Facebook and share pictures of your beloved Bernese Mountain Dog.
